Registration fee fixed now. Includes physical gift sent to you!

The attendance fee has been fixed at £75 for student and £125 for standard registration until 23 May, thereafter £100/£150, respectively. The registration website is set up now and will be available online soon.

We will also send a physical gift to you ahead of the conference for early registrations.

Invited speakers confirmed!

We have 13 confirmed invited speakers for WOCSDICE and EXMATEC combined.

We will make all invited talks available to all registrants.

The speakers are listed on both conference pages: here for WOCSDICE and here for EXMATEC.

COVID-19 information:

After much careful consideration, we decided to host the conferences as a virtual meeting 14 - 17 June 2021 due to ongoing travel restrictions, health and safety concerns surrounding large gatherings, and other factors related to the COVID-19 pandemic, also considering the uncertainties when vaccinations will be available for all.

The registration fee to the conference was much reduced and we will provide all registrants access to both EXMATEC and WOCDICE talks. We will update on the new programme soon.

We are also aiming to provide a virtual excursion similar to our previously planned in-person excursion.

What Are The Conferences All About?

Join us for the co-located 44th Workshop on Compound Semiconductor Devices and Integrated Circuits held in Europe (WOCSDICE) and 15th Expert Evaluation and Control of Compounds of Semiconductor Materials and Technologies (EXMATEC) in Bristol, United Kingdom in 2021!

These two long-established and complementary workshops in compound semiconductor devices and materials will once again be held jointly, this time in the vibrant and exciting city of Bristol.

You will not only learn about the latest developments in making smaller, and better performance devices and materials, but you will also have the opportunity to extend your horizons in related topics. We will be reporting technological breakthroughs in semiconductor electronic and opto-electronic materials and device technology, design, manufacturing, physics, and modelling. Focused and parallel sessions will allow you to connect with your colleagues internationally and share with them great dinners, excursions and coffee breaks in Bristol and nearby Bath. We will also arrange a schedule for accompanying persons.

WOCSDICE and EXMATEC will have selected joint conference sessions.
